This spell can snuff out all kinds of obsessive thoughts, like a crush you can’t let go of, negative self-talk, or worries. It can help you stop overthinking about someone or something.
- Tall Drinking glass or 16 oz plastic cup
- Short Drinking glass or 9 oz plastic cup
- Tea Light
- Matches or Lighter
- 1/2 cup vinegar
- Baking Soda
Instruction
- Place a tea light in the short drinking glass
- Using a long match or lighter, light the tea light while leaving it in the glass.
- Focus on this lit candle, sending as much as you can about your obsessive thoughts into this flame.
- In the tall glass, pour 1/2 cup vinegar
- Slowly sprinkle 1/2 tsp of baking soda into the tall glass containing the vinegar.
You can dump it all in at once, but be ready for a big eruption! Notice how the baking soda creates a reaction in the vinegar much like your thoughts create an uncontrollable stressful reaction in your body and spirit. - Let the reaction slow down until the foam has disappeared.
As the foam disappears think about how you want these thoughts to disappear. - Slowly tilt the tall glass on its side over the tea light as if you were pouring the air over it.
- If the flame doesn’t go out on your first try, pour another scoop of baking soda into the vinegar and repeat from step 6
