Alainn Tarot, Updated Cards; Fresh Color, Better Storytelling.

I’m thrilled to share that the Alainn Tarot Deck has received a fresh, vibrant update! 🎨✨ After spending time refining the illustrations, each card now brings even more depth and clarity to your readings. Whether you’re a long-time fan or just getting started, these new enhancements were made with you in mind, keeping the beauty and symbolism of the original intact while elevating the experience.

Take a look at the changes below, and as always, thank you for your support on this magical journey! 🌙

What’s changed?

  • Coming Alive With Color

    • While gilded line art forms the foundation of Alainn Tarot, we’ve filled in some details; The Queens have been brought to life with vibrant color. Their solid presence as full characters is now emphasized, including the Empress, who stands even stronger.
  • Crowns

    • All Kings and Queens now wear crowns, highlighting their status with a touch of regality.
  • Better Story Telling

    • The Sun: A sense of abundance has been added with decadent food and wine, enriching the card’s feeling of blessing and prosperity.
    • Four of Cups: The story of “the grass is greener on the other side” now comes through in a fresh, humorous way.
    • Page of Pentacles: The bartender imagery has been replaced with a more fitting symbol of a young entrepreneur—a lemonade stand—better capturing the essence of business ambition and potential.
    • Five of Swords: The new imagery updates the idea of “bringing a gun to a knife fight” with a brighter, more modern twist.
    • Six of Cups: Instead of a generic family album, personal childhood photos have been used—bringing real warmth and nostalgia, sure to evoke memories of your own happy times.
    • Nine of Wands: The old imagery has been upgraded from DOS to Windows 10, capturing the frustration of watching an installation drag on forever.
    • Eight of Swords: The character has been transformed from a helpless child to a strong, capable woman who’s more than ready to free herself from any self-imposed limitations.
