The 22 major Arcana of the tarot deck represents each a unique STAR (ET) race. Their unique character traits, how beings from that race tends to be as a person, are what we mean when we speak of “Archetypes”.
When we resonate with a certain archetype, that is another way if saying that we have awakened our internal DNA of that race, or are expressing or experiencing that part of our DNA.

Rejecting an archetype (shadow projection) is the expression of suppressing that DNA within ourselves. Which stunts us, we then cut off access to our own potential
