Save this HTML file and open it in a browser. Everything needed for calculation is inside it. There are no external fonts, scripts, connections, or accounts.
Use “Save chart file” to download your chart and selected view as a small JSON backup. Either view can be reconstructed when you reopen it. Reopen that backup with “Open chart file.” Editing this page does not change the original HTML file. “Remember in this browser” lets your chart reopen automatically on this device. Storage support can vary for local files, so keep a chart-file backup too.

About these transit calculations
The Sun, Moon, and planets through Pluto use geocentric tropical ecliptic longitudes of date, calculated with the bundled Astronomy Engine 2.1.19 by Don Cross (MIT license). Chiron, Ceres, Pallas, Juno, and Vesta use bundled NASA/JPL Horizons apparent geocentric ecliptic-of-date positions, sampled every two days and interpolated between samples. Additional JPL check positions across 1900–2100 agreed within one arcsecond in the validation set. The position tables are included in this file; the transit button does not contact NASA or send chart data anywhere. True Sky then uses this calculator’s existing provisional midpoint boundary table. No location is needed for these Earth-centered positions. This button does not calculate a new Ascendant.
The chosen time is interpreted in your browser’s local time zone; the loaded instant is also shown in UTC. Dates from 1900 through 2100 are supported here. Chart backups include the loaded transit time. Lunar nodes and other minor bodies remain manual entries above.
Your natal Ascendant stays fixed: it anchors both transit Gua.line and your houses. Calculated transits appear here and on the wheels’ outer rings; your entered chart points stay intact. Includes the Sun, Moon, Mercury, Venus, Mars, Jupiter, Saturn, Uranus, Neptune, Pluto, Chiron, Ceres, Pallas, Juno, and Vesta. The calculation works offline.

Astrology & I Ching Explorer
12-house placement: Tropical whole-sign houses. 13-house placement: True Sky whole-constellation houses. Gua.line is shared by both views. True Sky uses the supplied provisional boundaries.
Both views below come from your current chart. The toggle converts the ASC, quick lookup, and all chart positions using the built-in boundary table. Tropical uses 12 whole-sign houses; True Sky uses 13 whole-constellation houses.
| Point | Tropical position | True Sky position | 12-house placement | 13-house placement | Gua.line |
|---|
These conversions preserve the same internal longitude and distance from your natal Ascendant, so Gua.line stays the same. House numbers may differ. True Sky conversions use the supplied provisional boundaries and may differ from the current chart software’s displayed coordinates.

Kitty’s chart is loaded as an example. To see your own placements, start with your own natal Ascendant.
- Choose the system your chart uses. Select Tropical or True Sky to match the positions you’re entering. Choose before you type; switching afterward converts your entries automatically.
- Enter your chart. In the Chart tab, choose New chart, then enter your chart name and natal Ascendant’s sign or constellation, degrees, and minutes. Add your natal points if you want their Gua and house placements too. Use positions from an existing chart; this tool does not calculate your birth chart from birth details.
- Save it for next time. Use Save chart file for a portable JSON backup. In Chart, open “Keep a chart and use it offline” and choose Remember in this browser to reopen your chart automatically on this device. Use Open chart file to load a backup.
- Check your transits. Open Transits and click Load transits now. Your natal ASC stays fixed while the current positions load with your Gua.line and houses. For another date, open “Choose another time · Print · Export,” set the date and time, then choose Load selected time.
- Look around. Wheels draws your chart, with loaded transits on the outer ring. Compare shows both systems side by side. The print and export buttons let you keep a report or wheel.
Just here for daily transits? Your natal ASC is enough—you do not need to enter every natal planet. Save your chart once, then open Transits and click Load transits now whenever you want a fresh snapshot. Selected times use the browser’s local time zone, shown beside the date controls.
Understanding the 13-house system
Spirals of Consciousness recognizes Ophiuchus where it has always been in the sky. Its house sequence traces a journey through selfhood, experience, relationship, and participation in the wider world. Between House 8 and House 9, we acknowledge the overlooked Ophiuchus stage: # · Retune · Rise—a place to recognize repeating patterns, integrate what you’ve learned, and choose a different response.
This house is represented by #—a sharp, raising the pitch, and a ladder. The symbolic sequence becomes 1–8 → # → 9–12, preserving the traditional house numbers while making room for a deliberate transition.
| House | Sign archetype | Theme | Sphere of experience |
|---|---|---|---|
| 1 | ♈ Aries | Arrival · Self | Identity, presence, and how you meet life. |
| 2 | ♉ Taurus | Worth · Matter | Values, resources, and what you sustain. |
| 3 | ♊ Gemini | Exchange · Mind | Learning, communication, and everyday connections. |
| 4 | ♋ Cancer | Remember · Home | Roots, belonging, memory, and your inner foundation. |
| 5 | ♌ Leo | Create · Shine | Play, pleasure, creativity, and personal expression. |
| 6 | ♍ Virgo | Craft · Embody | Practice, daily rhythms, and bringing intentions into lived form. |
| 7 | ♎ Libra | Mirror · Union | Partnership, reciprocity, and what relationships reveal. |
| 8 | ♏ Scorpio | Trance · Loops | Entanglements, shared power, and patterns that repeat. |
| # | ⛎ Ophiuchus | Retune · Rise | Awakening, remedy, integration, and changing your participation in a pattern. |
| 9 | ♐ Sagittarius | Quest · Truth | Exploration, philosophy, higher learning, and examining belief. |
| 10 | ♑ Capricorn | Master · Calling | Developed capability, vocation, and purposeful contribution. |
| 11 | ♒ Aquarius | Gather · Community | Friendship, collective aspirations, and participation in community. |
| 12 | ♓ Pisces | Release · Source | Retreat, surrender, completion, and space for another beginning. |
# is the bridge out of House 8’s loops and trance. It asks where an automatic response can become a conscious choice. Recognizing the pattern is the opening; remedy and integration help you practice a different response. From there, the journey continues into Quest · Truth, Master · Calling, Gather · Community, and Release · Source. This is an interpretive framework for reflection, rather than a ranking of people or stages of spiritual achievement.
Reading the house labels: True Sky uses 1–8, #, 9–12 throughout the calculator and report. The # marks the added Retune · Rise stage, keeping the familiar numbers 9–12 for the stages that follow. Tropical retains the traditional 1–12 labels.
House meanings and constellation placements are separate layers. Ophiuchus inspires the Retune · Rise archetype, but its actual house placement depends on your Ascendant. With Ophiuchus rising, for example, Ophiuchus occupies House 1. It is not automatically everyone’s ninth house.
This expanded house interpretation belongs to Spirals of Consciousness.
How this calculator works
Gua 1, line 1 begins at the exact natal Ascendant. The 64 Gua follow numerical King Wen order counterclockwise through increasing longitude. Each Gua spans 5.625°, with six lines of 0.9375° each. A boundary belongs to the new line. A full turn returns to 1.1.
For a point: its internal longitude is the start of its sign or constellation plus its degrees and minutes. Subtract the natal ASC longitude and wrap into 0–360°. Divide by 0.9375° to locate the line. These are the chosen Spirals of Consciousness mapping rules, rather than the Human Design gate sequence.
Houses begin at the start of the rising sign or constellation. House 1 starts at 0° of that sign or constellation; the exact Ascendant anchors Gua 1.1. Each following sign or constellation forms the next house. Tropical uses 12 equal houses of 30° each. This True Sky model uses 13 unequal houses, with Ophiuchus forming a full house. Its house labels run 1–8, #, 9–12.
Tropical signs span 30° each. True Sky uses the unequal Midpoint-style boundaries supplied in the workbook, including Ophiuchus and Pisces crossing 0°. Some constellation degrees can exceed 30°. Those boundaries remain provisional until checked against the original chart software. Automatic conversion uses this fixed table; it does not apply a birth-year correction or fetch updated constellation boundaries. Converted minutes may contain decimals to preserve position accuracy.
This file calculates from positions you enter. It does not generate a sky chart from birth data, interpret the placements, or calculate changing-line oracle results. Printed chart minutes are rounded; placements near a boundary may need finer source precision.
